HS 1st Year Admission 2021:
An online common portal "DARPAN" will be launched for receiving applications by The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council from the newly passed HSLC/AHM students. It is basically an online web portal for completing the HS 1st year admission process 2021-22 session. Due to the critical conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, it had been decided to developed this online admission facility. The interested & eligible students may apply online for admission in 2 years Higher Secondary Course under AHSEC from 16th August, 2021. The online web portal link is given below.

How to Apply for the HS 1st Year Admission 2021:
Students who have recently been passed HSLC /AHM examination 2021 can get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Universities, Degree Colleges or Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC through submit the online application form at the official portal "Darpan". They may follow below mentioned steps to submit their applications -

- Click on HS 1st Year Admission link.
- A portal will load, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).
- Choose the college, course type and other details you want.
- Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and other necessary documents.
- After filling and verifying all the details, click on submit button.
- After submitting the application, keep the system generated acknowledgment for future use.
- Check the portal regularly for updates. You will be informed through the portal which institute (s) you have been selected for admission.

- Scan copy of mark sheet and Pass certificate of HSLC.

Admission fee of HS 1st year Admission 2021:
The fee details of the admission fee for HS first year are still not declare. Either it may be free of cost or a simple fee may be paid by the candidates or the students. The fee details for the HS 1st year admission will be provided on the official portal soon. A lam sum fee has to be paid by the students to the institution where the students will take admission. The fee may be for the school magazine, union, and center fees.
Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List:
The students will get seats in the schools/colleges according to their performance in the Assam HSLC/AHM Examination, 2021 in their application submitted schools/colleges. A student will be able to submit his/her application to multiple institutions for admission. The institute wise merit list of selected students will be published on the same portal a few days after the application process is over. This year, after 6 days of the application process, the merit list is likely to be published within 31st August 2021.
