Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam has released a job advertisement of 74 Supervisor vacancy, 64 LDA cum Typist vacancy of subordinate offices under the Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam. Eligibility Criteria:

 

Ø  Educational Qualification:

 

1)    Supervisor: Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University. Preference will be given to graduate in Social Work/Home Science and related fields like Nutrition/ Anthropology/ Sociology/ Education/ Psychology etc. OR Instructor and Principals (Female) of Training Centres for Middle Level ICDS functionaries having Graduation in any discipline.

2)    LDA cum Typist vacancy : The candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline with 6 months of Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Application .

 

Ø  Other Qualification:

1)     Citizenship: Candidate must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

2)     Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: The candidate has to produce the registration certificate of employment certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form.

3)     Gender: The posts are for the female candidates only.( For Supervisor Post only)

 

 

Age Limit:

A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January, 2021.

Age Relaxation Available:

·         42 years for Ex-Serviceman,

·         43 years for OBC/ MOBC

·         45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)

·         50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD)

Selection Process:

Step I: The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear n an OMR based objective type written test to be held at a venue and date to be notified later through local news paper and official website.

 

Step II: The candidates qualifying in the OMR based Objective Type Written Test shall be called for a Computer Based Typing Test (English and Assamese) which will be of 30 marks For every position, candidates shall be called for Computer Proficiency Test in the ratio of 1:4 in order of merit as per the written test marks.
